A public education service, The San Antonio Regional Occupational Program (ROP) provides practical, hands-on career preparation and guidance. In partnership with the Bonita and Pomona Unified School Districts, the San Antonio ROP offers classroom experience and community-based internships to prepare students for industry-specific employment requirements. Completion of the program will enable students to successfully continue technical training at an advanced level, pursue higher education opportunities, enhance existing skills and knowledge, or seek immediate employment.

To ensure quality training and internships, as well as a verified labor market demand, San Antonio ROP works with education, business and industry leaders through advisory committees. ROP instructors bring first-hand knowledge and experience to the classroom and are fully credentialed by the State Department of Education.
