Computer Technology
Learn fundamental computing functions, operation of spreadsheets, database management, word processing, and desktop publishing. Students who achieve competencies required may be eligible for advanced placement and/or credit at Mt. San Antonio College.

Journalism / Marketing
Students are introduced to occupations in the field of marketing and journalism. They will learn how to identify and explain market research techniques, develop basic marketing strategies, identify and utilize elements of effective advertising, and identify and explain how to set pricing. Students will also learn how to design and layout a newspaper, brochures and business cards.

Floral Design I
This course is designed to give students the skills to be able to work in the floral industry.  Students will learn how the floral business is set up by achieving training as a designer, cashier, stock clerk, and buyer.  Students will also be taught flower and plant care and usage through lecture, demonstrations and hands on experiences in a flower shop.

Small Business Ownership

Through lecture, reading and hands-on projects students determine their potential for entrepreneurship.  Writing a business plan, ownerships, organization, using resources while managing cost, profit and competition in the market place are included.

Water Technology Careers
Experts expect a shortage of trained employees in the next decade, however, the need for a safe and efficient water system for business and residents of California remains.  This course includes Introduction to Water Systems, Water Resources and Water Distribution I and career essentials.  Several fieldtrips are required.
